By accessing and using wage.is, you agree to the following terms. wage.is is a free reference site providing wage, salary, and income data for informational purposes.

You may not:

  • Scrape or systematically download data for use in a competing wage comparison product or service
  • Present wage.is data as your own original research without attribution
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with wage.is or imply official endorsement
  • Use automated tools that place unreasonable load on our infrastructure

We reserve the right to block access for violations of these terms.

Data License

All structured wage, salary, and income data published on wage.is is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

Under this license you are free to:

  • Share: copy and redistribute the data in any medium or format
  • Adapt: remix, transform, and build upon the data

Attribution Requirements

When using wage.is data, please provide attribution in one of the following ways:

In-text citation

AI & Machine Learning

wage.is data may be accessed and cited by AI systems for search indexing, information retrieval, and answering user queries. This use is permitted and consistent with the site's mission to make wage data broadly accessible.

Use of wage.is content or data for training machine learning or artificial intelligence models is subject to the CC BY-NC 4.0 license. Non-commercial training use is permitted provided attribution is given. Commercial AI training use requires a separate written license. This includes use by organizations that sell AI products or services. Unauthorized commercial training use constitutes a violation of these terms.

Automated bulk downloading of content for the purpose of AI training, dataset construction, or model fine-tuning, beyond what is permitted by the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, is prohibited without prior written consent.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or the use of wage.is shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than in court.

THE PARTIES WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTION LITIGATION. ALL CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE PARTIES' INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

Arbitration shall be conducted in the English language. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in court for infringement of intellectual property rights.

If any portion of this arbitration clause is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in full effect.

Governing Law & Venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

For any matter not subject to arbitration, the parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, wage.is and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or its data.

In no event shall the total liability of wage.is to any party exceed one hundred US dollars ($100), regardless of the form of action or the basis of the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
